Attendance
At Nantwich Primary Academy, we recognise the vital role good attendance plays in your child's education. Attending school regularly ensures your child has the best possible opportunities to learn, grow in confidence, and build essential social skills. Our aim is to work in partnership with parents to support all pupils in achieving excellent attendance.

We encourage all children to be in school and on time, ready to start their learning at 8:40 am. To promote regular attendance, we operate an Attendance Shop where pupils can collect tokens for great attendance and punctuality. These tokens can be exchanged for exciting rewards, with larger prizes available for those who save up over the term.
Attendance Matters:
-
On Time Tokens: Pupils who arrive before 8:40 am receive a token as part of our rewards system.
-
Medical Appointments: Please arrange appointments outside of school hours whenever possible. If appointments during school time are unavoidable, bring your child into school for registration before the appointment, and return them afterwards if possible.
-
Holidays During Term Time: We discourage term-time holidays, and only in exceptional circumstances will leave be authorised. Unauthorised absences may result in a Fixed Penalty Notice issued by Cheshire East Local Authority.

We believe that good attendance forms the foundation of academic success and personal development, and we are here to support you. If you have any questions or need assistance with attendance-related matters, please contact our Learning Mentor/Attendance Officer, Jayne Lyall-Brookes, via the School Office.
